Dr Elaine Storkey

Experienced writer and speaker in relating the Christian gospel to contemporary culture

Elaine has many years’ experience of teaching in British universities and overseas.

She was President of Tear Fund, a member of High Table at Newham College, Cambridge, and one of the founders of the postgraduate Christian Mind Course at Oxford. She has been one of the longest-serving members of the Church of England's General Synod (28 years), and is on numerous boards, councils and working parties which address the interface of culture and Christianity.

Publications

Her latest book, Scars Across Humanity (2015), addresses the global incidence of violence against women. It will be followed by a biography of Lyn Lusi, founder of Heal Africa.
