Ralph Turner is a Christian author specialising in biographies and ghost-written autobiographies. He has a master’s degree in theology and studies and speaks on church history. Ralph is part of the leadership team at Chroma Church Leicester. Find out more at ralphturnerwriter.com.

A one-day course, taking a journey through church history from the time of Paul to the present day. Looking at great leaders and great revivals, this informative and encouraging day provides an overview of the work of the Holy Spirit through history.
From Paul to Athanasius: The early church in one hour
A one-hour presentation, starting with a short historical overview and then considering key early church leaders including Polycarp, Justin Martyr, Perpetua, Tertulian, Ambrose, Augustine and Athanasius.
From the Dark Ages to the Puritans: Church history in one hour
A one-hour presentation, starting in the Dark Ages, through the Reformation with Hus, Wycliffe, Erasmus, Luther, Zwingli and Calvin, and finishing with the English Puritans.
From Wesley to the New Missionaries: Church history in one hour
A one-hour presentation, starting with the Pietists, Zwingli and through the first Great Awakening. We will concentrate on John Wesley, George Whitefield and Jonathan Edwards, finishing with Wilberforce, Carey and the birth of the missionary movement.
From the Second Great Awakening to the Present: Church history in one hour
A one-hour presentation, starting with the second Great Awakening, including Finney, Lanphier, Booth, Spurgeon, Moody and more. We will cover the Welsh Revival, the Azusa Street Revival and the Hebridean Revival, concluding with the present day.
